Guild Wars 2

I get the following error message in Visual Studio; Unhandled exception at 0×10028C5B (LavasoftTcpService.dll) in Gw2.exe: An invalid parameter was passed to a function that considers invalid parameters fatal.

Going to try repair.

Since posting, I have tried both repair and refresh without success. I’m currently re installing the entire game.

Good luck with that. I tried a full reinstall and the downloader is still broken with its 80’s level of download speed.

You have to get rid of : LavasoftTcpService.dll

That is not a part of GW2 .. its malware or whatever.

The re install worked. I also got rid of Lavasoft. Things seem to be working now.
