Guild Wars 2

Oh hi. The same problem is happening to me and 2 other friends, all at different houses, all in Australia.

The following occurs when trying to log into the client.

“Guild Wars 2 has encountered an error.

The game client was unable to connect to the login server. Please restart your client and try again. If the problem persists, contact Customer Support for assistance."

Restart of client and computer didn’t help. I’m guessing this is a problem from the latest patch, possibly? As we were able to log in fine 20 minutes ago, and now we can’t. We are now very sad and crying very much. :’(

Anyone else having a lot of DC problems atm?

I just got DC’d twice. Decided that’s enough of that; I’m done.

Yes, me and a guildie were in the beta…suddenly DC, and now I cannot log into any characters I have at all, including beta character.

Same. Error message is:

1083:5:7:1595:101 Network error. Everything else on the internet is working fine for me.

I think beta and real servers went down

Keep getting the Network Error now.

my whole guild dced, and i can even get back into vanilla

Haven’t been able to get back. Bummer, it was actually pretty fun at that point.

DC’ed. Get a Network error Code: 1083:5:7:1595:101. then client restarts and I have relog back into the game.

Same crashed out of Beta can’t login at all now.

Same. I can’t load any characters at all. I was in map IP .92 when I DC’d. Also I noticed that the beta character is using the spare character slot I had set aside, if that’s important.

And… it’s back now.

Played for an hour then kicked out. Tried to log back in on multiple chars, same error message. Finally able to log back in on my non-beta char.

Got back home, played… working fine till Waypointing to wvw home borderland. Stuck at the loading screen for a few minutes, I killed the task, logged in and kept getting this same error after logging into a character.

it goes away when i restart my router. I could then WP anywhere. but when I try to WP to my homeland BL (Crystal Desert) I get stuck at the loading screen again. People in map chat have confirmed it’s been happening to them too, and people are seen queueing the map (before it wasn’t) even when nothing much is going on there…

I’m from Crystal Desert as well, and I’ve been having the same issues as Kolisch as well.
Same error code keep popping up. Sometimes I can’t even get to Lion Arch and it just disconnects me after selecting the character

Just got this issue, lets me log in game, picks a character but my map tries to load and then it gives me this error
Code=1083:5:7:1595:101

seems to be working now, still the loading times seems longer than usual

ok, the latest patch went in just then totally screwed my game, tried all my toons, which are at different areas of the world, all of them just stuck on map load, with STATE_SERVER_WAIT, then eventually gives up with

Network error

Please check your Internet connection (I was just IN THE GAME and finished up KQ before logging out for patching) and try again. (MANY times with all 10 of my toons) (Code=1083:5:7:1595:101)

UPDATE: Managed to load back into Southsun twice with my mage, both time when zone to another map, stuck on MapLoadStatus: STATE_SERVER_WAIT, then gives up after a while

PINGed couple of map servers, connection to the network interface is normal, suggesting something is wrong with application that’s hosting the map.

Just got this error message following your update, I can access the login server, and enter character selection – but logging into a map i get this error from character selection. NOTHING has changed on my end, whats up anet?

PS: Your forums are taking 5+ minutes to load a page as well. everything else on my end works fine, streaming netflix, pingtest, ect..

I am pc windows 10 not going to list everything but can. And I have the same issue. It was working just fine before the patch and now every time no matter what toon or map I wait and wait and wait then crash. Says I “can’t connect” error (which is funny considering I am on the forums XD )

No, this happens on Windows too. It’s still the same issue as before, except it migrated to the loading screen instead of character login.

Yep same issue right down to the forums as well. I am on other sites but nothing that should be lagging the internet this much.

I’m in New England and also having this problem with both the game and the forums. Something is wonky. I did get in but died in subsequent zoning.

Same issue. Same error message. It started immediately after the patch 45m or so ago? I managed to get in once, but I needed to switch characters, and …

Le sigh.

Same issue. Can get into character select but can’t load any map. Sits at 0% for a while then network error and game exits.
These forums are so incredibly slow as well right now, maybe because no one can get in the game and we are just refreshing waiting on an update. That merged bug thread is the slowest of them all. Swear i’ve been trying to get to the last page for the last 10 minutes.

I’m having the same problem as the OP. I can get to character select, but as soon as I try to load any of my characters the game pauses while loading and eventually error’s out with the message the OP reported. The game was working just fine prior to the new build…

This is my “me too” post. Ever since the latest patch, I can access character select screen, but can’t get past loading screen for maps.

Ditto. I cleared my bags and as I was heading to for adventure was logged off due to the patch. No GW2 for me tonight.

Anet’s server pulled a major hernia. Finally able to get the forums up, but the game won’t load any maps.
