Just added this instead of ‘-StreamingClient’ and it flashed through and is now sorted…i think!
Hope it works for all of you!

Right click your GW2 shortcut and select properties. After the second " leave a space and then add -assetsrv 62.154.232.187:80
e.g. “C:\Guild Wars 2\Gw2.exe” -assetsrv 62.154.232.187:80
Then apply this and run it. It worked for me, hopefully it’ll help you all too.

Ps. I changed it back to “C:\Guild Wars 2\Gw2.exe” -StreamingClient
after it fixed itself.

I did change back to ‘-StreamingClient after it finished and the game works fine fore me.

If this isnt working for anyone I had to add that line and run as administrator, for some reason either option alone didnt work but both did, and now that its fixed I can open the client as normal like before.

I tried solution in forum it did not work I get connection error retrying, I played fine last night up to 10 pm cst. Can’t GW release a new build without it breaking everything
