Having same problem. Tried to fix it using some of your guides. It doesnt help. I admit Im noob in this area. But hey its not my job to fix it. Anet fix this and we come back.

Start >> Control Panel >> Network and Sharing Center >> Change adapter settings
Right click on your active connection and select Properties.
Click on “Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)” and select Properties
Under the General tab, enable “Use the following DNS server addresses” and type the following:
Preferred DNS server: 8.8.4.4
Alternate DNS server: 8.8.8.8.
These are Google’s public DNS settings (or so they say…). Click OK and you should be able to log in. If not, wait 10 years for Anet to respond and another 50 years for them to identify the problem and say it’s not on their end. Kinda standard procedure here…
Well, this problem fixed itself on it’s own for me. Just like it broke itself. On it’s own. All I did was wait 4 days. Gahd being with family at family gatherings is unbearable LOL

I got the same problem some days ago, so i decided to reinstall but i cant do it because of the same problem.

same problem. also can’t connect to the websites or ncsoft website when it occurs. currently working as of 20 minutes ago. major downtimes.

Hey everyone,
There could be any number of reasons why you could be experiencing this error which makes it difficult to lump everyone’s report here as being the same issue. True, you are getting the same error, but these are the most common causes:
- Blocked ports
- Firewalls enabled by your campus IT admins
- Client being blocked by firewalls or security software applications
- Conflicting background applications
- Malware or spyware preventing you from logging in
- An unsupported or unstable connection such as mobile connections or satellite
- DNS issues (may want to clear your DNS cache via a normal DNS flush or using Google’s Public DNS)
- Invalid winsock entries
- Lack of admin privileges
When faced with this particular error it’s usually best to narrow down all potential culprits in order to get to the bottom of the actual cause. If you’ve already eliminated the above as being possibilities then by all means please do submit a support ticket so that we can further investigate this issue!

I installed the game weeks ago (returned player potentially) and couldn’t get the game to launch, it kept losing the server and asking me to try later. Error code 7:1000:7006:462. So deleted it again.
Returned today and installed it again thinking whatever the problem was it may have been fixed. But you guessed it it’s still the same.
The security I use I’ve used the same company for years and never had any issues in the past on other software or this one.
Interestingly enough I re-subscribed to ESO and also having issues there authorisation issues, waiting on ticket answer.
However WoW works fine, pity they wreaked that game.
I can’t think of any reason why they don’t work, only thing that might have changed since playing either of those I’m having problems with is upgrades, maybe Windows 8.0 to 8.1.

One other change here, there was no Megaserver back then. Maybe that could be the issue.

I also have the same issue, I cant log in right now, but when I do game have massive lag and I dont download anything at background. I was able to log in HOURS ago and now launcher gives me 7:11 error code, server lost connection yabayabayab usual stuff.
I dont know what changed on my computer or its GW2’s problem, I have Windows 7
and were working, now I cant even log in. Launcher keep doing same little icon animation and wont let me log in,
I even barely logged on forums, other web sites working without lag

For anyone else experiencing connectivity issues – please keep this thread in regards to the issue in the title alone. Other connectivity issues need to be tacked onto posts regarding the same issue or new threads need to be created in regards to your own individual issue so as to avoid confusion.
