Guild Wars 2

I’ve had this message for 2 days now, on the 2nd of October the game was fine with no connection issues, since the 3rd of October when I tried to log on for the first time that day the launcher is just stuck with this message:

Anyone else getting this problem or has any idea how to fix it?

I too am getting this problem. I click on the shortcut, the launcher comes up, then doesn’t get any further than sitting there saying “Connection error(s) detected. Retrying…”. I have tried restarting both my computer and router several times, but with no success. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?

Same problem occurring, need fix!

I had the same problem: It was my AVG firewall. It wasn’t enough for me to just make an exception within the firewall settings for GW2: that didn’t work. I had to turn my firewall off all together, but now I can play.

i have same problem. but i dont even have the gw2.exe…i have gw2startup.. and i cant get past the connection issues. firewall is off no idea how to fix thissss. someone please help

ugh. nvm i got it. had to disable internet firewall..thought i had disabled all firewalls..missed one :x. Hope this helps others..

Same problem, had to uninstall AVG. Apparently it doesn’t play well with GW2

I had this problem on Windows 7. Right clicking and “Run as Administrator” so that it is able to update fixed it.

OMFG it is downloading!!! IT is a christmas miracle!
