Hi,

cannot log in.

My bf is logged in, but looses his connection very often and if you type in the channels, it will not be shown. ^^ (EDIT: It is shown after ~ 2 minutes of waiting…)

It just started ~ 15 min ago, before that everything was fine.

Anyone else having troubles?

I have problems with connection and are geting random dc’s. For bonus my guild chat isn’t working. I can clearly see myself in the guild but the game says “you’re not in a guild”.

What’s up with that?

EDIT: Seems like guild chat is buged for all of the guys in my guild atm.

Seems to work again right now. Will have to observe it for a while…

I’ve massive lags which even cause disconnects.

Having similar trouble too; keep getting a notice on “Network error, please check your router/firewall” when I go to the character select screen or it takes ages to login or it simply dcs whilst I’m in game.

I love that message as if the problem would always be the users fault. :-D

Having just checked firewalls to discover nothing had changed, completely resetting all networking hardware between my computer and the ISP and seeing information here suggesting occurrences outside of a local area, I’m skeptical too of the user error message.

As there are quite a lot of people in different region experiencing the same problem the source of that problem is clearly not at the user. I would imagine that Anet is either doing a – planned or unplanned – update on their servers or they are just having some trouble with them.

Still have issues on Desolation with the TP being unavailable every few minutes. Something’s struggling…

Massive DC’s all through the evening….
One hour play, 8-10 DC’s. Totaly unplayable.
( tried to finish one part of my storyline 4 times, got DC-ed every time )

On Siverpeak server, doing the storyline ( amongst other things ) in Rata Sum as Human… speek to Gorr…

I give up, time to receive some TLC from my gf, as A-net doesn’t

I’m having the same problem trying to download the game for installation. It will download for a while and then stop saying there is a connection error.

It says there’s a connection error right now but here I am posting this on the forum, so I know it’s not my internet.

Should I expect these types of problems often? The game isn’t making a very good first impression thus far.

Getting disconnected and having to verify files that I know are not corrupt. Had this issue a long time ago and did nothing on my end, it was eventually fixed by an update. Anyone else getting this?
