Hi ArenaNet

I am having connectivity issues since the release of the new patch.
I played earlier today with no trouble, but since the patch I’ve had the “connection errors detected… retrying” message.

I read the forums and ran the Gw2.exe diagnostic tool (ie made a shortcut and put -diag in the path), and I got results that said my connection was fine (0% error rate)

Please let me know what I should do to fix this issue.

I am having the same issue. I have actually just requested a ticket from technical support. So I hope to have the problem solved soon.

I am having the same issue. I’ve added GW2 to my firewall exception list, run as admin, reset my router.. nothing changes.

As soon as I open gw2.exe, it immediately goes to downloading files. I don’t get the login button or anything.

It starts out at a really crappy download rate (like 50kb/s) and just plummets to 0kb/s, hangs for a second, then says connection errors detected…

After that I have to open the task manager to kill the process because just leaving it does nothing. Doesn’t come back from that point.

For some reason it got resolved this morning. I am able to log-in and play again
