Can anyone help me out with setting up my GPU/in-game settings? I crash a lot, sometimes 10-20 times in 5-6 hours. Sometimes the game closes down and brings up the crash report window, sometimes it just freezes in place, and I have to ctrl+alt+del and close the process. I attached a picture of my current graphic settings that are set by autodetect, which I try to play on, as in pve it gives me decent enough appearance without any lag problems. I have to set to best performance when going in WvW. I know my PC isn’t top of the line, and I can deal with low fps and stuff, but the constant crashing is driving me nuts..especially with long WvW queues. Im mainly just looking for decent visual with stability. Any help would be appreciated, im not too keen on GPU’s and graphics.

Try and update all you drivers. and run a ram test. I use memtest86+ stable ram ensures less system crashes.

After reading another thread, I saw a forum moderator ask for some corrupt file logs. If one happens to catch this, im posting them to see if that helps. As they instructed, I changed the file type to a .txt to be able to upload to forum, although it should be .dat

As drivers should be up to date, but I guess i’ll go through again and check. Haven’t done memtest in a long time, as I was playing Aion with no issues at all, but I suppose to be thorough, this is something i’ll have to do.

I’m having similar problems with Sapphire Radeon HD 6870. I have no trouble loading the game, but usually after approximately 15 minutes I get a BSOD (usually BUGCODE_USB_DRIVER when my headphones are plugged in or an IRQ_LESS_THAN_OR_EQUAL_TO when they are not plugged in). Someone fixed this problem for me exactly one week ago by updating practically all of my drivers (chipset, graphics, audio, etc.), but ever since the client has been updated again, it goes back to the same sort of behavoir. Is anyone else with a similar card having any of these kinds of issues. This is going to be VERY annoying if I have to modify my computer after every patch so my computer can play it.

ARENANET, do you plan on uploading any changes that could possibly rectify this problem? I had to wait almost two weeks just to post this as none of the support tickets I filed were answered. Great game but the technical support so far is extremely lacking. While I truly applaud your decision to ban people for the racial weapon exploit, how about helping those who are actually trying to play the game a hand? I would think you would be more enthusiastic about adding/keeping people in the game rather than kicking people out of it (that can be done later). Please help!
