Constant Disconnects
~ArenaNet
Let me know if reinstalling the game client helps. I have been having most of the same problems you have. Generally I log in and there is horrible horrible lag (not being able to use abilities, talk, contact anything, etc etc) making the game unplayable. After a few minutes of this I will be dropped.
I have been looking at every problem I could find and its not any of them (it’s not latency, its not my wireless, it shouldn’t be my still new computer).
I have the same issue recent two weeks off and on and though we pay $$ for high speed Comcast most of the time I blame them. The weird thing today is that my connection is ok until I connect to the game and then I get the drop. I checked my firewall and its open for GW2 so I have to wonder if Comcast is using packet disruption for high use mmo games such as this one, as online gaming is listed on their high use customer profile. At any rate I hope it clears up , talking to Comcast is like trying to chew a brick wall, their CSRs last couple of years are rather slow mentally and tend to just read from scripts and know nothing else.
So yes also having a connectivity issue, getting about 5-10 minutes worth of play at a time.
Meldea, I’ll be sure to let you all know if it works. Since my download speed is horribly slow (even though we have 15mbs, this game is downloading at less than 1mbs) it will be awhile.
Seraki, I’m on Charter, and as far as I know they don’t disrupt MMO usage. Other MMOs work fine on my computer anyway. It’s just this one. Even the updater was disconnecting constantly earlier today. It’s very strange. Hopefully redownloading will fix it, though.

I’m having the same issue, and I’m on ATT U-verse, so it’s nothing to do with my hardware or my internet connection. I’m wondering if it has to do with the main internet routers, as a lot of them seem to be down at http://www.internettrafficreport.com/namerica.htm
Guys im having the same problem
I am reinstalling the game right now and im going to test it..
I hope this works, cause it sucks, playing like this… and im sure that its not my hardware or drivers outdated
For now it worked guys.
I have played for about 2 hours and no laggy things or whatever…
I played tonight for about six hours after the reinstall with no problems as well. If it gives me issues again tomorrow I’ll post here, otherwise, problem seems to be solved!

Update: Problem NOT fixed. I started crashing tonight around the time the server really took a heavy load, got into WvW before reset for a bit and managed to play an hour, then right after reset, got into Eternal Battlegrounds, ran half the map, and crashed.
Of course now I’m in the Eternal Queue. Fix this, Anet, or at least make it so we can get back into WvW after a DC, please. I’m seriously losing patience.

I have the lost connection thing too with the 7 error. However, though I like to blame Comcast, I also run a teamspeak server on my other computer and do not loose connection to it. I just lag on the game and then get booted.
Yep, my Teamspeak didn’t DC at all tonight. And other MMOs don’t either. I’m getting very fed up here. Hey support, how about some support?

you all could look in this thread:

or this one:

same problems there.
Thanks for the links, Panda, just read 10 pages of that first one. I guess if misery loves company, I’m in the right place, but not seeing solutions anywhere. Just more people with the same frustrating problem.
It would be a lot less frustrating if, while they’re working on an issue they can’t fix yet, they put in a WvW DC grace period.

If you are having this issue try going into the properties of the GW2 exe file and in the target location field add -repair after the quotes. I did this and it verified the games cache and now works.
I tried the -repair option and it does not seem to work at all.
