Constant Stutters?
sounds like the gpu part of the apu is running out of vram, or throttling
get gpuz and take a look at the temps/vram usage
I have this happening to one of my systems at home actually. And I narrowed it down to the power supply.
The system I have issues with is a i3 and a R7-260X. Not a lot like your APU, really.
But what I found out is my PSU doesn’t supply enough power to the GPU in a constant state (infact I am using a 4pin to 6pin adapter for the GPU), so the 12v Rail goes from 12.34+ down to 10.12+ when under load (just enough to irritate the GPU and have it drop the core clock)
maybe something similar is going on with your system?

With Gpuz —- It says my GPU is going from 0% load to 99% load without GW2 even being on. Just Chrome…
After a couple hours of guild wars 2 —-- it stayed mostly 99-100 load… I’m fairly certain that’s a REAL problem…

Definitely sounds like a power supply issue then.
You can test this by installing MSI Afterburner and see if the ‘power’ slider will let you set it to +4, +6, or +8. That will force the GPU to draw more power, forcing it out of a sleep state.
IF that fixes/resolves the issue, you need a new power supply

new power supply? I just got my computer a few months ago, so that won’t be a problem.
EDIT: It won’t let me move the “power” slider —- only the memory and core clock…
I don’t know what the buttons are for so I’m definitely not messing with it.

Can anyone else confirm it’s a power supply issue? Or could it be something else?
