Q:
Hi All,
After anywhere between 1 minute to 30 minutes of gameplay, doesn’t matter what I am doing, my game either: Crashes, becomes unresponsive, freezes and has to be closed with task manager, or gives me a memory could not be read/written error message. I am using the 64 bit client for reference and have reinstalled the game twice.
I have sent all of my error logs to anet whenever I crash; the game has become virtually unplayable right now.
Can anyone help me with this? I will edit this post to insert error logs when they occur along with the length of play.
Any help would be much appreciated, as this is very seriously disrupting my game ;-;
Many thanks,
Matt

You can contact the Tech CS Team via the ‘Support’ link above/below and ‘Submit a Request’ for assistance.
Good luck.
Have you ran a -repair on the client, I was getting this problem the other day, but after the -repair I haven’t had a crash with memory error.
From your log
186.Model ‘0×082239’: Failed to resolve AimIK bone indices.
187.Model ‘0×080b24’: Failed to resolve AimIK bone indices.
188.Model ‘0×08223a’: Failed to resolve AimIK bone indices.
189.Model ‘0×082239’: Failed to resolve AimIK bone indices.
EDIT: This is the same issue I had, a -repair on the client should fix this.
Ran the -repair but im still crashing, with no errors this time just closing :c
i am also crashing multiple times per play session with the same "Failed to resolve AimIK bone indices" error. i will be playing minding my own business, and suddenly get a box in the middle of my screen that says "GW2 has experienced a serious error and needs to shut down.". my crashes have been getting more and more frequent in the last week or so. previously i would only crash after i swapped characters several times.. i never got too worked up about it.. i figured it was some memory issue similar to the last game i played, but now i am crashing in the middle of a fight on the first character i logged on... i crashed 4 times just tonight before i gave up and stopped playing.
i have done a -repair twice. once yesterday, once a couple weeks ago. no appreciable change. playing on win10 32 bit. problem only started a month or 2 ago, and only got unplayable-bad within the last few days. any assistance would be great.

Your best bet is to upgrade your OS to 64-bit and use the Guild Wars 2 64-bit client.
Good luck.

Like Inculpatus cedo.9234 said, you should look at updating to Win 64bit, your logs show you are suffering the Out of Memory error ( OOM ) which is a restriction of Windows 32bit, you can try turning down your settings and see if it slows the crashes down, but expect anywhere in the game that a zerg battle is occurring to crash.

I would update your drivers, are any other games crashing?

If you can, update to win10 x64 and use the 64bit game client.
Also make sure your AMD drivers are actually up to date. I know that win10x86 is having driver issues with Nvidia and AMD. So pull down the latest AMD driver and install it.
