Hello,

While I realize that this may be a duplicate post to this (and I already submitted my DxDiag there), but I thought I would ask this separately anyway.

I have a quad core AMD Phenom ~2.2Ghz, 8GB RAM with a single GeForce GTS 450

I have 200gb space free, computer after startup uses up only ~2GB RAM. All CPUs are fine.

I have attempted using the following drivers:

  • 296.10
  • 301.xx
  • 304.xx beta
  • 306.xx beta

Unfortunately that did not result in any performance change what so ever. Regardless of the drivers, regardless of the in-game settings, regardless of the setup in the nVidia control panel – I am maxing out at 15 FPS in Lion’s Arch, 33 FPS in explorable areas and down to ~8 FPS as soon as a big event comes by.

I am wondering if it is really my video card? CPU? Do I need a new machine or could this be an unresolved issue? I have been playing Skyrim on Ultra in full resolution without problems. Not sure if it is reasonable for me to expect at least 30 FPS from GW2…

Any help is appreciated. Perhaps any specific setup of nVidia controls that may help?

Thank You
