This occurred directly after the Halloween patch.

Same here,

Have never had an issue, now after character select, it just sits forever loading.

I hate when a patch or update is added to a game after months of playing jsut fine. to going to not being able to even get into game.

Saaaaaaaaaame here. I am disappoint. Just upgraded from AMD to an i7 3770k and was looking forward to giving GW2 another go after a short break from playing.

No map icons show up, get an infinite load for all characters.

I’ll just wait over here while they make a fix and shove it in the tubes.
