Okay guys, you need to post your complete system specs including OS version. Then find your arenanet.log (usually under my documents/guild wars 2), export this as a .txt and post it here using more posting & formatting options below.
Also, as an FYI, there are a lot of threads currently discussing crashing, definitely have a peruse through those as well.

That is the error I keep getting constantly
Add one more for that error on a frequent basis (like 8-10 times in the last three days). Can run for long periods OK, then suddenly dumps me out with that.

Tot, still need more info, please re-read my post above. (If running 2 cards, try disabling one)
Solomod, have you tried the latest vid card drivers (320.49) or were these (314.22) just the most stable for you? Are you running any overclocking, if so, set back to factory settings and test. Have you considered testing your ram for failing hardware? If none of this works, have you tried running msconfig, disabling all startup programs, restart comp, test game? If no crashes, it’s time to figure out what app/program is conflicting. You can re-enable later using msconfig again, re-enabling, restarting.
Sometimes a game advisor report helps.
Hi Kyllaa
No i havent tried disabling a card yet, i’m also running 320.49 i tried to install 314.22 and it’s compatability check said it couldnt do it.
I got a response from tech support to say i have to download and run Game Advisor.
I did play again on my i7 laptop last night to check my connection and that ran the game fine for over an hour.
Btw this only started happening since that tiny patch thing on Staurday night when the servers were restarted
Hey Tot, if you’re dealing with support, then perhaps you might want to continue with that since you don’t seem to be reading posts here thoroughly, no one here will be able to help you if you are answering to other people’s support rather than responding to what was asked of you. But it’s cool. Feel free to post what fix support finds for you to hopefully help others.
Hi Kylla, im not trying to be rude im just getting confused now it all seems bad. I will paste below this my error message. I disable sli 40 mins ago, forst 30 mins ok, then crash, then 5 more crashes before I even got to login screen, ran game advisor before I started and sent this to anet, only use 5001 character in post hopefully this is ok

Hi ToT – It looks like the fault module for this particular crash is “d3d9.dll” which usually indicates an issue with DirectX.
The first link will provide you with the June 2010 redistributable which will force Windows to update Direct X. I provided this link below:
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8109 (download and run this first)
Once installed, please use the following link to install all material post June 2010 for Direct X. Again this link is provided below:
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35 (download and run this 2nd)
Please be sure to save the file to your Windows desktop. Then create a new folder on the desktop and extract the DirectX files into it. Once they have been extracted open the new folder and use the DXsetup file to install DirectX.
If this doesn’t resolve the issue for you, I’d recommend a clean installation of your video card drivers.
Hi Ashley
many thanks for the support.
I have followed all the steps, didn’t have anything malicious on my pc
Been on roughly 90 mins and only had the error once, will, so big improvement will try again tomorrow after work
Hey, glad to hear it!
Definitely let me know if the issue returns or if you have any other questions.
Hi Ashley
Crashed again couple of times last night, before i could report that your colleague Brian had sent me an email to try using ping plotter.
I will try that tonight and attach the report to the ticket
Can i take this opportunity so say how fabulous you tech guys have been, especially Luis who instantly replied to my emails.
Myself and all the guys you help appreciate all your help and efforts you put in to sort out all our problems
Many thanks
ToT
Just to report back, for my part. I had assumed, given the number of people raising similar issues around the same time, that there might be something relating to the recent content/patch updates – but I should’ve known better. Of to my local PC supplier tomorrow to pick up a new 4Gb DIMM to replace the one that has gone ‘poop’ – thanks for the pointer!
Oh, I just thought I’m alone, here my txt:
If something resolving ths issue I will be very beholden

Not sure if this is the right Forum to make this comment but my is now GW2 in a permanent crash. GuildWars2 Login Screen appears, Dowloading 0KB(0KB/sec) and that’s it. It freezes there. I have to CTRL,ALT&DEL to kill it. I know that a few days ago Microsoft Released a security update as well as a number of other updates. After that Microsoft Update all of my online games where down. WOW pushed a patched and now works, RIFT attempted a Patch but it still down for me, SWTOR still crashing on startup. GW2 does what I said it does. I tried uninstalling all the Microsoft updates from a few days ago and it didn’t fix the problem. Everything worked fine on the 12th and after the patch on the 13th or 14th nothing works.
I meant to add, my machine is Windows 7/64 Bit.

Hy Ashley!
I tried this, but the second exe is do not working for me. It is sais that I don’t have internet connection, so can’t able to download the files.
Constantly being kicked out. Different locations. Always Client Server lost connection. This is new since Last night. Have not had any problems til then.
Had update from support last night as last night crashing was horrendous.
The small packets of info that bounce from my pc to the anet server takes 14 steps to get there and i have issues at a data centre on step 4.
My ISP service provider logged in remotely last night and ran several test and confirmed all was ok with the pc and their system.
Anet have said they’re taken the matter as far as they can and suggest i use a proxy server.
I have ran this game last night on my old laptop and was logged in for about an hour with no issues at all except lag (was in pavillion where i crash the most)
As i said earlier i never had a single issue with this game until i immediately logged in after that tiny patch on Saturday night
Thanks to all for help and suggestions but this is now as far as i go it seems,
Thanks and good luck to you all
One update fixes the issue for a month.. New build after new build waiting for issues again. interestingly enough a few days without a new build and Crashapolooza starts again.
Just to keep you updated.
I ran GW2 fro 4 hours constant at the weekend on my old laptop and had no connection at all. I used my new pc to run a coupe of other online games and had no disconnects at all.
Then i tried also running GW2 on my pc whilst running other online games in the background. GW2 still dropped out but the other games stayed online.
I have several guildies from the UK who use the same ISP and they have been fine.
All i can think as this is a new pc and it quite high spec this is causing he issue ( but as mentioned before it was fine for 3 weeks til that patch weekend before last)
Crashing problems since this weekend. gtx560 card.
I did steps above. Direct x and have drivers update for card , now version 320.xx for nvdia.
For about an hour i can play then it crashes |(blue screen , memory dump? and reboot screen) or freezez pc (latest crashes) on gw2 screen and noting works, not even cntr alt del.
No clue what i can do, look for.
The adm. event logs entries i see on my pc dont help me either as i donot understand them.
Strange thing is that is happens always after an hour of play or so.
so what can i do?
EDIT
Does this has todo something with it? Or what does it do?
Microsoft Application Virtualization Client
(it is one of the warnings i see in administrator events log)
