The game crashed while playing with the following error.

lockedRect.pBits
A serious error has occurred that prevented the application from continuing.

Upon attempt to restart the game, I was required to re-validate my IP address using the e-mail verification method. Is it possible that my home IP addressed changed during play and this caused the game to crash?

This crash and error occurred again. Upon re-starting, the game downloaded a patch named “tgUpdate version 1.11”

Hopefully, the availability of an update patch was not the cause of the game crashing. That would be a terrible way of forcing users to upgrade.

no, there was a cider update yesterday for all mac user (and a normal client update too)

I have this problem too. I’m playing with a iMac Late 2012 with a Nvidia 680MX :-(
