Guild Wars 2

This is frustrating.

This is what happens:
Log In
Press Play
White Window appears
Box says: “Guild Wars 2 Game Client has stopped working”
Only option is to close program.

What I have tried.
Uninstalling and reinstalling
updated gfx card drivers
repair gw2 client

Hardware:
6500k
Radeon 7850
16gb ddr4
W10 64bit

Game worked fine until about a week ago. Then just stopped working.

Any ideas.

I have the exact same issue – Curiously, on the day the issue started, Nvidia had released a new driver and I believe Windows had a platform update. No idea whether this is related to the crash, but it’s a coincidence none the less.

I’ve had a little play around, including rolling back to previous Nvidia drivers and removing the newest Windows updates, however, the issue remains. Saying this, I am inclined to think that the problem is with windows rather than Guild Wars itself.

If you happen to come across a fix, please do let me know.

16Gb DDR4
Windows 10 64-Bit

Same thing happening to me out of nowhere. Been working fine up till now. I tried running the client repair and that worked, but now when I try to login again it does the same thing.

Given up for now until

A fix though ! Enabling Custom 3D support in Riva tuner did the trick
