Try running check disk then a repair afterwards, Ashley responded to a similar post today with that suggestion.
Thanks for the response Kyllaa!
I did see that post before making this topic (failed to mention that above. sorry! XD).
Disk check says everything is fine! And I ran the repair each time it crashed (the actual repair, not just verifying the archive), but the problem persists.
My co-worker knows quite a bit about computers, so I’m going to have him take a look at the error log and see what he makes of it too. I just wanted to post this to see if anyone could point us in the right direction before I took up too much of my co-worker’s time.
Thanks again!

Hi AzureDragon – Since you’ve got some CRC errors in the crash log my first suggestion would have been a Disk Check. Since you’ve already tried this, I’m curious to know if you’re over-clocking any of your hardware. Is this the case?
I’ve been having the same problem for the past week. I crash every day but in the past hour I haven’t been able to stay for more than 10 minutes.
I found this thread helpful (it’s from 11 months when there seemed to be another wave of similar crashes).
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/tech/Crash-MainCli-cpp-510
It suggests that it may be down to faulty memory and a dev explains why GW2 is more susceptible to crash when this happens than other applications.
I will try running memtest86+ when I get a chance, it may well be my hardware, but I’m not convinced that it’s just a coincidence that there seem to be so many people crashing after the last update.

ill just drop my two cents here aswell .. i highly doubt this is gonna turn out to be a hardware issue on your end.
iam getting the same error aswell .
i checked my hdd´s for bad sectors , ran memtest overnight , looked if any of my drivers are not up todate .
also repaired possibly hundreds of times lol
i even redownloaded the game on another pc and took it over to my pc via external drive ..
no dice , same message ..
my hardware is not overclocked in anyway either .
since the queens update i just crash like there is no tomorrow …

Thanks for the input! My co-worker helped build my pc and he and I both agreed that Overclocking just wasn’t worth risking the longevity of the machine. Though I’ve read that the motherboard I have has a feature that can automatically do it. Reviews state that this feature is pretty stable, but I’ll have my co-worker take a good look at everything to make sure nothing is being over clocked.

My co-worker suspected that there was an issue with the update as well. He won’t be able to check it out until Monday, but I’ll post our findings in case it helps anyone else with this same problem!
