What happens to me is exactly what the topic title says. Let me explain a little bit more.

I’ve been for 5 years without a computer, now i got my pc:

1 x CPU: Intel Ivy Bridge Core I7 3770 3.40GHz Quad Box
1 x Mother Board: Gigabyte (Ivy Bridge) | GA-Z77M-D3H
2 x Ram: Corsair 4GB DDR3 1600MHz Corsair Vengeance
1 x Hard Disk: SATA 3.0 HDD 2TB 7200RPM
1 x Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 TI 2GB GDDR5 192-bit

It came yesterday, and yesterday I began downloading GW2, so today I was going to play for the first time, but thing is, I can’t play.

The game keeps minimizing for every minute or so, and about the 5th time this would happen the computer crashes, even my keyboard and my mouse stops working. And I don’t mean they freeze, I mean my mouse’s light turn off, like if the usb stoped.

NOTE: as I was writing this topic I realized that I was often taken away from the window, like if I was at the desktop but the window remained the same… So the problem could be in my computer but two things: (1) The computer hasn’t crashed till now; and (2) even if it is in my pc I don’t know how to fix it.

Sounds like hardware issue. Where did you get this desktop? Should be under warranty.

The windows of my pc are constantly going to background! Yes my computer is under warranty but i wish i could fix this before new year. At this time of the year will take too long for them to fix it.

Try Re-installing windows.

Do you have any games that use Akamai netsession. Since I removed Akamai I haven’t had the minimizing issue anymore. You would have to stop playing the game using it as well though since loading said game would reinstall Akamai.
