Crashing at launch
I’ve been getting the exact same problem these past couple days, it happens about 3-6 seconds after I hit the ‘play’ button, I’ve tried restarting several times, only thing that’s ‘helped’ is waiting it out, about to try the things posted here: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/mac/Basic-Mac-Beta-Client-Troubleshooting

Seems like tip #3 did the trick, might’ve just been how long it took, but we’ll see. Just copy paste that line of code into terminal and wait, it’ll start up guild wars and ‘update’ for awhile, just let it finish before trying to play.
Honestly I’m not 100% sure if your graphics card is even supported. 288MB of vRAM sounds far too low to be able to play the game :S
Technical Support
Hello YOUNGtheslayer,
I would like to see if your system meets the minimum system requirements to play the game. Can you provide us with a screenshot of your system specs that includes the graphics card model?
@op
do you have this config?
- NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M graphics processor with 256MB of GDDR3 memory on 2.4GHz and 2.53GHz configurations; or 512MB of GDDR3 memory on 2.66GHz configuration
- Intel HD Graphics with 256MB of DDR3 SDRAM shared with main memory <- can’t find a 288mb config but users posting this on other boards?

gw2 mac beta requires a 320m (1gb) at least, which would be double vram than the 330m has on the higher config.
maybe if you install windows you’d be more lucky?

maybe your macbook isn’t switching between the cards properly, I had this problem as well with a new model, works now.
good luck
