Guild Wars 2

So I bought me a shiny new gfx card few months ago and just recently guild wars has been plagued with this kitten.

Its really ticking me off as obviously the pooint of a new gfx card was to enjoy the pretty colours, but i cant do that because the only thing that remedies the problem is running everything on low.

Any ideas would be great..

It’s not a new AMD card by any chance is it? Artifacting is extremely rife among the new series. It is usually down to bad memory on a card or unstable overclocks. I myself have a R9 280x Toxic edition, it has a high overclock out of the factory and is a nuisance for artifacting. Currently about to RMA my second Toxic edition back as both give me crazy artifacts. You can try different drivers or down clocking the memory to see if that helps. Do you get it in other games too?

Figured as much. The new AMD cards seem to have so many faults with them! Possibly down to the memory on them. I haven’t managed to find anything that can fix it completely, but down-clocking the memory did reduce how often it happens. Quite honestly, if it annoys you as much as it annoys me I’d RMA it back to where you bought it from.
