I am constantly getting this DC code error usually every 30 seconds. Impossible to play.
If I am lucky I can last up to 5 minutes before another DC.
Can’t make any progress in many of the new achievements, especially the gauntlet, i keep dcing as soon as the boss is about to be defeated.

Any fixes? Compensations?

I see my packet receive, keep stopping from time to time for a while, not sure if this is merely my router/modem issue, or gw2 affecting it as well. I only see the stopping of packets when I am on GW2

nope this is ANet problem, every1 got this since friday (23.8.) … i hope for soon fix … cause it’s unplayable, you cant do dungeon, you cant do sPvP, WvW, LvLin alts …

frustating indeed when u were facing scarlet briar and then DCed.

Every time they have a new LS event, or similar, the traffic increases and their system shows all it’s flaws. The engine running the game is from gw1. They claim it’s modified, to suit todays gaming needs. It’s not up to the task of the gamers today imho. Even players with high end machines show sub standard performance. Bottom out all your settings and make sure all your TSR’S are closed. It’ll ease up after the event ends.

Today it got me, really frustrating.

sadly yes, all of us just too tired reporting same report with no response.
there is no update/fix/reply/whatsoever from Anet yet

yeup :< All day errday. Any other games, it runs smoothly, esp net-wise. But as soon as I get on Guild Wars 2, it becomes Net Wars. LUL

It has yet to be fixed. My internet is fine, it is only gw2 DCing on the constant…
Even after the new release-patch.
Have sent reports directly to anet, ever since this forum post. No reply yet. _
Trying my best to enjoy the game, but kitten , not the easiest thing to achieve lol

I’ve had ten or so DC over a few hours during this afternoon. Router, ISP and PC seem fine after testing. Disconnects, high general latency and skill lag plague this game. I help people understand this when they consider creating an account.

I find it very poor, and it compounds me some – why is the design not fitting the purpose.
