Guild Wars 2

Have it a couple of days now:

Getting dc’d once, logging back in.
Get dc’d again and can’t logging in the game for about 5-10mins.
After 5-10mins, I can log in again.

Getting message it’s my firewall or campus network when it’s obviously not.

What’s causing this?
Is it at my end or client/server end?

You’re not alone. This happened to myself and my partner, at the exact same time. We can’t get back in.. This has gone on for nearly a week, on and off.

Our internet’s fine, every other online game accessable.

I have that problem for some Days now, never hade any problem at all for years whit GW2.

Have it again, like every single day now.. First game lags like hell (skill lag and chat lag, internet connection is fine, youtube runs perfect) then I get DC’d from the game.

Then for 10mins I get this message (see image bellow)

Can this please be fixed?

It took me 30minutes to log in.. Never had this long before

Aaaaand nvm, game still lags.. Can’t even load my guilds. Skill/chat delay still there..

My partner and I have been having that problem as well, fairly severely for 3-4 days now.

Not to mention every solo PVP match some team has at least one DC now. The last match I was in, the opposing team only had 3 players

Edit: in NA btw (specifically Oregon). Erratic connectivity occurs at all times.

Do anet give a kitten about it at leats? It’s kittening 2 weeks since you kittened the things up with the last patch and there is still no kittening fix.

Hello, please try this fix. It is known to fix a lot of connection problems in guild wars. 2
Open up command prompt
Type route print
Verify that there are no guild wars 2 specific re-routes in the routing table. (This confirms that there are no bad routes in the hosts file.) if you do find a bad route, you’ll need to modify the host file, refer to google to do that.
Type iconfig /release
Ipconfig /renew
Ipconfig /flushdns
Netsh windsock reset
Once finished, make sure guild wars 2 is running under administrator mode. Also make sure that your firewall has made Guild Wars 2 open on all ports.
Also clear your Guild Wars 2 cache
The quickest way to clear the GW2 Cache is to:
Ensure your game is completely closed.
Hold your “Windows Key” and press “F” to open Windows Search on your computer.
Search for “gw2cache”
It will find a folder called “gw2cache-{bunch-of-letters-and-numbers}” at:
“C:\Users\YourComputerUserName\AppData\Local\Temp”
Delete this “gw2cache-{bunch-of-letters-and-numbers}” folder that is shown in the results.
Restart your computer, if not fixed try the Google DNS fix:
