Hi there.. I’ve been playing this game for 2 weeks and its been great so far until yesterday im starting to have this some sort of 2 – 4 second delay. At first I thought it was my connection so i started to refresh my website and see if there’s any delay, and it turns out that it is not because of my connection.
I even played other games to see if i get delay in other games too. And in other games i run the game just fine.

So my question .. what exactly cause this delay ? i keep getting kicked out due to connection problem yet I’m still able to play other games and browsing just fine.. This problem starting to become irritating because it happens often now., to the point that the game itself is unplayable sometimes.

I am having this same issue, game played great the first couple weeks now every 5 minutes or so the games freezes for 4-8 seconds, then screen goes black then comes back. Any suggestions?

The black screen appearance makes me think – doesn’t your Windows complain about the graphics drivers having stopped and being restarted ? That happened to me once and the symptoms were exactly the ones Stokes describes.

I had the black screen issue before (prior to GW2) , and had to roll back my Nvidia drivers. Fixed the issue.

Lavexis – what kind of delay are you getting? Is it the black screen, does it seem like lag? I kept getting d/c a few days ago, like every 10-30 minutes. Rebooting my modem and router fixed this.

I am getting same issue as the OP, unrelated to black screen issue.

I am on Virgin internet in UK and it may be them limiting bandwidth somehow
