I apologize if this is covered somewhere on here, but i flipped though about 54 pages without finding anything that really answers my question, so i thought i would go ahead and put something up.

I am currently playing the game on a 2011 macbook pro. I have been lucky and haven’t had too many issues getting the game to play, but lately i have seen my fps getting worse and worse, and it is clear that it is time to get a new computer.

I don’t really have the time, patience, or know-how to build my own computer at this moment, and don’t have any kind of starting point, so i wanted to ask if anyone knew of something over the counter i could pick up that would run the game with decent settings. I’m not demanding 60fps in wvwvw, but right now i’m barely pulling in 20 fps in dungeons.

Budget wise i’m looking for something in the neighborhood of $700.00 but would be willing to go up to about $1000.00.

As an additional note, i know that the consensus of the forums is that building your own computer is usually cheaper and you can get a better system for your dollars, but learning the components and dealing with the stress of building and troubleshooting is just not appealing to me at this point. So i would like to stick with something out of the box that has potential to be upgraded down the road when i feel ready to take that on.

i appreciate any help you are able to give me.
Thank you!

maybe?
specs seem ok but you never really know what they put into those prebuilt boxes.
You could also look at cyberpower or digital storm?

Though my suggestion would be to buy your components and take it to your local computer store/fry’s/microcenter/tigerdirect/etc and pay to get them to assemble and install windows and everything else for you. That way you know for sure you can get solid components in your rig without the hassle of building it yourself?

That machine looks pretty good. You’re right though, you never really know what they’re giving you. But i guess the same could be said about the quality of the parts you order when you buy them separately. but oh well. I’ll have to look into what places charge for putting the machine together if i supply the parts. I hadn’t really considered that.

Thank you for the suggestion. I will look into it. =]

Find something like the below link within the US and ull be golden. Where ever u buy a prebuilt rig from u need to know EXACTLY what each and every component inside it is. A lot of business skimp out on the PSU and/or motherboard and wont actuall tell u what ur getting, they will just say “500w PSU” and “LGA 1155 motherboard” ..which doesn’t tell u anything.
