Desperate customer needs help
Maybe you can ask support to do a rollback on your account, so it will restore everything you had before deleting that character. If the support answers with another premade answer keep trying until someone who knows what to do fixes your issue.

He can ask about an account rollback but the answer before this has always been they only do account rollbacks for compromised accounts, not for accounts where someone deleted a char or items.
ANet may give it to you.
The CS Team will not offer an account restoration for any purpose other than an unknown third-party compromise.
You can, if you so desire, update your original ticket and ask again about your Gem Store items, but the Team may not have the tools to accommodate your request.

Thanks, I will ask again. I really want those items back or at least some kind of refund…maybe 1500 gems if not the 3000…I am so sad about this. One kitten fault…I am so angry about my foolishness and so sad about the situation and the answer from the support.

I haven’t played this game in a long time either, however as far as remember GEMS are not stored on your character but in your wallet which is shared across your entire account.

Doubt you’ll get a rollback or your items replaced but SilverWastes is still out there and there’s good gold to be made. Spend some time there, just a bit everyday maybe even meet some people have some fun and you will be able to replace the items you deleted in time and you’ll get back into the swing of the game. Yeah I’d reply again to the customer support email, tell them what happened and be polite about it and let them know that it’s the three gemstore tools you’re wanting back. They can check your history and see that you did indeed buy them and they should be able to see your account and know you accidentally deleted those items.
CS can likely restore the gem purchased items that were on the deleted character (the perma-tools for example), but it is highly unlikely a rollback is going to happen (and they can’t restore a deleted character).
Just for clarity, you did not delete the character by accident but did not properly prepare the character for deletion. It is IMPOSSIBLE to delete a character by accident (you have to type in the character’s NAME to confirm the deletion). One can certainly make a mistake in the deletion process (I’ve done that myself), but classifying it as an “accident” is incorrect.
