Guild Wars 2

I have installed a directx11 as well as a higher end video driver. Yet even after I also installed directx9, which gw troubleshoot suggested, I still can’t play the game. Anyone have any ideas?

The error is " unable to initilize 3d output. Please verify that you have installed directx 9 and an updated video driver"

As for atstem specs i can name it off the top of my head but its able to run guildwars thats for sure. Its a driver issue of some sort. I have tried basic troubleshooting such as re installing her video drivers but apparently it will not work. Any information on the issue would be fantastic.

I’m sorry i don’t know how to check if i have stereoscopic 3D activated or not.

Download directx and reinstall :

If that doesn’t help uninstall your video drivers, reboot, and reinstall them

I found the issue! The driver wasn’t properly installed at all. I missed a step and thought it was installed lol. I’m sorry everyone! Thank you for the tips though! I was able to find stereoscopic and re-install directx 9 as well, as i still needed it to play gw for some reason. I guess 11 will be for higher end games? lol such noob I dunno.
