I would like you to try a new command we just introduced to assist players with these types of issues. To do this:
1. Navigate to your Guild Wars 2 installation folder.
2. Right-click on “GW2.exe” and select “Create Shortcut.”
3. Rename this shortcut to “Guild Wars 2 Port Test.”
4. Right-click on this shortcut and select “Properties.”
5. Edit the “Target” line to include /clientport 80 at the end.
Note: Please make sure /clientport 80 is outside of the quotes
Correctly Formatted Example: “C:\Games\Guild Wars 2\GW2.exe” /clientport 80
Incorrectly Formatted Example: “C:\Games\Guild Wars 2\GW2.exe /clientport 80”
6. Once completed, click “Ok” to save your changes.
If you get an error trying to save, your target line may not have the correct format. Please try step 5 again.
7. Double click “Guild Wars 2 Port Test” and try connecting again.
This doesn’t work for me. I have tried EVERYTHING. I just got the game today and I can’t access it on my laptop at ALL.
I bought the game 3 days ago, and have yet to play because of this error(58:11:5:504:101 ). I too have tried everything the known errors page suggested and still cannot log in. I just now tried what Ashley’s post suggested and I was able to log in and get to the server select. I selected a server, and the screen goes black then loses connection. I try logging in again and now I’m back to square one looking at the error message 58:11:5:504:101. My guild wars 2 career lasted 5 seconds.
Guys its definitely a server side problem, i can get on occassionally, i can always get on at about 1am GMT 0 as well when the servers arn’t so packed. guess we just have to wait
Ive had the game for almost a week now, had it installed and updated on sunday, couldnt get in then, made a ticket to which i have YET to recieve a reply…. I also have tried every idea they have posted with no results and no replys to my tickets… At this point, im ready for a refund…
Having same problem, servers are almost empty and still get the error message. Tried all the solutions and none helped
I get dc’d with this problem too, sometimes I play for hours fine and sometimes I can’t get the game to run smooth… I dc all the time.
Arenanet please fix this idiotic connection issue, I don’t have this problem with other online games. I have set the ports, done everything and it is still not fixed.

I am disconnecting too, just happened when i went to college. Both my roommate is fine and we all use the same wi-fi. I opened my port and everything..
Same. Here. Has been happening non stop the past couple of days.
I have the same Error since several Days. I live in Ohio but originaly I am from Germany and played the last weeks without any issues from Ohio at Kordash[DE]. Please tell us how to fix this Error Code?
I can choose my Char, but if I klick “Play” the Error appears all time.
I’ve been having this same issue. My spouse and I play GW2 together, and we both crash with the error 58 message a few times each night. We never crash at the same time though, it just seems to sporadically happen.
I’ve tried all the listed fixes: adding /clientport and the -authsrv to the shortcut, opening the ports listed in the support section, checking for stray port triggers (none), making sure GW2 is allowed by my firewall (it is). We use MSE AV and I did disable it temporarily but it didn’t make a difference as I still crashed.
I’m not sure what else to try from here. This is incredibly annoying – it took me 5 tries to complete one single storyline quest because of error 58 crashes, which totally ruined that part of the story for me.
I get the same thing but i can play without problems using /clientport 80
File attached, I am one who gets 3032:1002:3:4095:101 every few minutes and sometimes 21:5:11:2166:101 right after.

I did everything but nothing helped so far. I switched also from my Wifi Router to another router with cable…. no difference, every time when I try to login with my char I get after 10 sec waiting this error.
ARE THERE ANY NEWS? I can not play for more than 2 weeks, because of this F…. error!!!

Posting in this thread again. As stated previously, I have tried every fix listed to no avail.
This is incredibly frustrating – it took me 6 tries to complete the Claw Island mission because of the errors. By the time I finally finished I couldn’t care less about the story, I was just happy it was finally done.
Any light of hope here for this?

Same issue here with me. I can’t even play the game for more than a few seconds before getting dcd every time the last few days. The game is unplayable for me. If i last 5 min before getting dcd i consider myself lucky
This error code is back again .. i think i d/c’ed about 10 times today in Bloodtide coast. Any other fixes available other than whats already been previously stated above?
Its happened to me twice this morning. It is back.
Having the same issue, which really sucks because i have been playing this game for 3 weeks with no problem but the past few days have been horrible. Getting DCed every 10 minutes. I’m level 78 and was super excited for my first level 80. But this issue is really ruining the game for me.
I have played this game over 1 month now and yesterday I started getting these disconnects.
I have tried the Solution posted by Technical Support and i’ll play for 30 mins and then get disconnected.
I would love for a fix. I have found several websites and posts. This issue should no longer be ignored.

I didn’t even have mine up . . . and i managed to play but i do get this error quite frequently but i’ve been letting it slide because guild wars2 truly is a wonderful game.
the past few days i’ve been getting this error too. it’s been crashing rather frequently now. my screen just turns black with this error window. when i click ok. it stays black. i have to force close the game and reopen it in windows.
edit* and yeah, /clienport 80 doesn’t really help. it won’t even let me log in.
I have also been getting this issue, I am disconnect every 10-15 minutes or less with error 7:11:3:189:101 followed by 58:11:5:504:101. Dunno if its on my end or ANets but its really annoying…
It’s not your end, I’m getting 7:11:3:189:101, it started around 5pm server yesterday (2013-03-25). And I know it’s not my connection because my wife sitting right next to me is not having the problem.
Getting the 58:11:5:504:101 error about every 30-60 minutes. Just a black screen with the message, and then I have to close it down and restart the game. No problem with connection, my gf plays on the same network with no problems. Problem started when I got my new computer but also when the latest patch (april 1? the one with super adventure box) installed. So not sure what caused the problem.

Got the same Problem here with my NetCologne internetaccess in Germany.
I tried out @Ashley Segovia’s way to change the target. Then it hangs up with the error code 7:11:3:189:101 (instead of 58:11:5:504:101).
If this (the first error) happens, it happens mostly simultaneous on every pc in the network.
It seems to happen randomly, not while teleporting (like the 32bit-bug) or something else((
One PC is connected wireless and one via cable… so this is not the problem.
ANY idea?
