Guild Wars 2

I got the game about a month ago and was playing on it no problem at all, no lag, nothing and I moved out of state and got a new internet provider and all that and now the game disconnects from the game server about every 5-10 minutes, it doesn’t lag at all it just randomly crashes on me. I did a virus scan and there was a trojan attached to an .htm file in my GW2 folder and I removed it and it didn’t help, I repaired the patcher, didn’t work, I’ve run a virus scan in safe mode and it didn’t find anything. I’m just running out of things to try and I don’t know what’s going on.

You may need to check in with your new Internet provider, some providers needs to enable a “gamer profile” but some claim they have no clue what that is lol.

If you’ve also had to get new hardware, you may need to check the firewall settings on your modem/router.

Well, does that depend on the game? Because I can play SWTOR just fine now.
