Also getting the same error. Interesting to note I am partied with someone who can log in, but as soon as I try to log in with a specific character, it boots her as well. If I log into a different character, she stays connected….

Yup. Tested and confirmed. Also should be noted that we are no longer in party and the same thing still happens.

At least 4 times in a row and all my progress get rolled back and that is annoying specially to someone trying to get map completion for legendarys.

My story: I Logged in after downloading the patch, i was level 69. I completed a personal story quest and leveled. Thing is i leveled up to 71 and was like wtf!!!?? Bam i get this error.

Everytime i login to that character i crash again with this error instantly.

All my other characters i can get into game for a few minutes b4 i crash but the lvl 71 crashes instantly

Just did a Game Repair and logged in again. Got kicked out again,

I believe mine happened right after leveling with that char, And I may have gone up 2 levels as well. Didn’t notice till I read the above comment……

Oh what a surprise, another patch another ton of errors…. does Anet even test these updates or do they just change stuff and hope for the best? This is terrible tech work.

I’m sure they’ll get on here soon and say we should check our internet connections or our router is faulty and we need a new one.

This is extremely annoying, I have had to go back and get the same 3000 XP 4 times now because of this and the rollback it does when you get DC’d. I am almost starting to regret getting this game over the game that shall not be named.

Oh and I lost all progress (from 60% completed) on your stupid daily too

ive got this problem as well, SoS, in the Snowden Drifts area. only have tried one character. the error code is the same as in the title of the topic, 7.11.3.189.101

Same for me… rollback and 7:11:3:189:101 error, its not possible connection error, pliss verify this update. Impossible to play today

Same issue here but only for the character I was playing at the time I got disconnected. All my other characters seem to work fine. Bit annoying as I had hit level 61 but according to the character screen my character is only 59. Losing a bit of a level I could understand but going down two is a bit of a harsh rollback.

Aha… same here. I was expecting to hit 25, make some gear upgrades, but after reading that I checked and he’s sitting there at 26.

If there’s gonna be some kind of roll back to fix this I hope it doesn’t mess up his story or go too far back. his bags are loaded with karma vendor BoA tailoring patterns I was getting ready to offload for an alt.

Stormbluff Isle here, and also getting his with disconnects + rollbacks. This happened to me a few days ago too, so I think I’m going to wait for some confirmation that this has been properly fixed before logging back in. Losing progress gets frustrating.

I’m getting disconnected a lot as well. I can’t even stay in the game that long. Faith levels dropping.

So whatever y’all do….DON’T LEVEL!

i created new character and i can play 2lvl

There should really be a test server like WoW has. It would be easy enough to move players off the lowest population server and make that one the test server instead of this nonsense happening every time there’s a patch and annoying your customers. Disconnects and bugs are expected on Test Servers. They’re rather unacceptable on the game servers since this patch has been in the works for some time.

Sorry for the bad input but this really needs addressing.

Getting the same error code [7:11:3:189:101], kicked 3 times in less than 5 mins, and I was even rolled back to the map I was in before the first kick, I jump to Orr get kicked and moved back to Holebrak (sp)

Same problem and also problem with lvl. I was kicked out just when i was entering my personal quest story. My mesmer was lvl 50 and now is lvl 51 on char select screen. Other characters are ok and funny thing is, that I was in a party with friend, he can log and eveything, but he crashes each time I try to log in that bugged char.

Game went from running FLAWLESSLY before the patch to disconnecting every few minutes after.

Same exact thing, everything is resetting to the 2-3 min limit, 10th time i log in at random times, after the patch, same error as the heading… =.=

I can’t even log into my main character without getting kicked out with error [7:11:3:189:101]. Sigh.

I can only login to characters that aren’t my main character. Just hit 50, Character select says I am 51.

Boots and rollbacks sometimes immediately, other times after a few minutes (7:11:3:189:101).

I just got the same exact error 2 minutes ago after loading a map from finishing a quest.

If you manage to play, logging out to the character select screen seems to save your progress until the next DC. So if you log out repeatedly you can still play. :P

Clearly, this is a genius post.

I never had this problem and had been playing since the game launched , but lately the error 7 has become more frequent and all the DC is making me not want to play .

Getting this same problem. cant even log in now. i get to character screen. choose to log in, before i see which zone im heading into, i get black screen and this error, accepting it quits gw2 and puts me in the desktop. (Im on Mac beta version, not crappy windows ;p)

Can’t log in for more than 5 seconds.

Do you need a mac diag???? cuz it doesn’t work for mac either.

try being in straights of dev i can be ne where on map no problem can do WvW go to do orr d/c every 10 seconds an becuase of this an the roll bk i lost my guild karama banner an the events reset. am guessing this is anets way of sayen dont eevent farm or try to missions story becuase we patch game to fast an didnt work out bugs

i’m also getting disconnected by that error.

I am having the exact same issue.. I d/c very frequent and cannot do anything at all.. was waiting for this patch and excited.. hopefully they can resolve this soon.

On the off chance character state changes have anything to do with it, it started a heartbeat after a character leveled in a story instance on leaving the instance. (leaving the home lodge back outside to Hoelbrak)
Had no disconnects prior.

edit: verified – it’s the one specific character mentioned above. no issues logging in on the others. (Snorvald)

This is what happened to me, I can’t log into my Thief.

On Jade Quarry, in both Diessa Plateau on my Thief(looking for chili peppers) and in Gendarran Fields on my mesmer (Leveling) I get error 7:11:3:189:101 Usually seems to happen shortly after combat .

Error :7:11:3:189:101 has been happening to me every few minutes. Missed dailies from yesterday and disconnects are ongoing.
