Display Name
Anet only offers display name changes in the event the display name compromises your privacy, (example using real name or email address), or if the name violates the GW2 naming policy. The links below go to posts from Anet staff regarding this issue.

Since my name is part of my E-Mail is does it still fit in the criteria to change it?
Very doubtful as it is not your actual email address. “towni” does not really reveal anything that I can see that would compromise your privacy.

When they say email, they mean “abcd@xyz.com”. Anything that isn’t in that format is not considered an email to them.
I’m a Moose, a ginger moose even.
But, now that you’ve publicly stated that, you might consider changing any and all accounts associated with any ‘towni’ email addresses.
Better safe than compromised.

I would like to change it if possible, but if not then its oki but I would prefer to change it.
According to Anet’s current policy on display name changes (provided in my first post) you won’t be able to.

Only way to actually find out is to speak with support. There can always be exceptions based on individual circumstances ( which they have have done). They are the only ones that cab give you a definitive answer, not a user/ player who is not employed by Anet that is telling you this is written in concrete.
