Is it just me or does it seem that report claims for anything other than gold sellers ever get handled? I also feel that a lot of people feel this way and because of such do not care if they get reported.

Anyone else?

I read the Account Issues forum and there are threads there periodically from people upset because they got a forced name change or were suspended for language, so those work. I also see ticket numbers on the Tickets for Review thread where Gaile says the account is terminated and won’t be reinstated.

I wonder as well. They don’t have a problem deleting my posts, but I notice the white knights hardly ever come down and they can say the same things I get mine deleted for verbatim. Like advertising links to people whom may or may not have been responsible for the DDoS attack in Tech Support. They must really be upset to allow a hit list on the official forums.

there should be a report button “this person is a trolling —--” i mean it’s just going to end up in the e-paper shredder like all the other reports.. but at least it would make you feel better

I’m fairly sure they do look at them, but if you’re talking about In-Game reports, don’t look for them to respond to each individual report that is sent to them for obvious reasons.

I have personally never seen a list of people that got banned in any game I have played, and I have played rather many online games.

Why would anyone ever respond to such a demanding and entitled statement?

Anet has given you an in-game tool to report bugs and improper player behavior and is under no obligation to indicate to any player how the information is used or acted upon. Any implication by players they are OWED this feedback is simply delusional.

I’ve personally seen people come back after some “time away” and whine about their “vacation” so yes, they must work. For privacy reasons, Anet isn’t going to say “So and So was banned”. They also don’t ban the moment you report as a human looks at the report to ensure you are actually reporting for a legitimate reason and not just troll reporting someone you hate.
