For GPU and CPU, just curious because last time I had a ticket saying gw2 didn’t support overclocking during that time and the game would crash. I had to reinstall the OS because putting everything back on default DID NOT work.

Well I currently play the game with no issues (touch wood! quick! lol) and I am using the pc in my signature were my cpu, ram, and graphics card are all overclocked.

I have yet to experience a single game crash or anomaly.

There are lots of test out there that will test your cpu for instability, however these are synthetic test and generally don’t cover all the situations that your CPU, Ram and Graphics may run in to.

If you overclock and the game crashes its probably caused by the game finding an instability that a synthetic test wouldn’t produce.

it really has nothing to do with the GW2 client at all. i’m running a mild oc on my cpu(2600k@4.2) and running my 660 Ti at 1201mHz(power target 123%, clock offset +123MHz mem +46) with zero problems.

Overclock is about getting your system stable via voltage increase if needed and other tweaks. If your overclock was stable you should have no problems, if not well you already know. Its always a gamble when overclocking and some programs are more sensitive to slightly unstable clocks than others.
