It’s been awhile since I’ve bought gems and I was curious if Paypal Credit (original Bill Me Later) still works with Guild Wars 2.
Hi there. I’m sorry that I don’t know the answer to that. But I think that you might be able to get more information about that by posting in the Black Lion Trading Company Forum, since there are more players over there who can share their experiences with various credit providers.
Having just gone through and taken a chance, it seems Paypal Credit works just fine! In the end, Guild Wars 2 still opens an express payment window through Paypal that allows a purchaser to choose a payment source. I’ve got my gems, and I’m happy there.

Yes, paypal still works – but I learned the hard way that the payment may still go through (after a few hours) even if you get an error screen. I tried three times, and then finally transitioned to a credit card due to the error screen……..and then ended up with 4 charges!
At first I thought I’d just eat the cost and eventually use up the gems, but with the current lag/spike issues I’m having serious second thoughts about the entire game.

In the meantime, I’d like for the team to be able to see your transactions and send details to our billing provider. Do you recall the time and date (and time zone) that the multiple purchases took place? (That info may be reflected on your PayPal account.)
