Does anyone NOT have crashing issues?
I can go long periods of time without crashing (I’ve never stayed on for 10 hours continuous just because I don’t play that long). The things I avoid to avoid crashing is LA and large zerg v zerg v zerg fights in WvW (I can usually manage to stay on if it just involves one zerg or maybe two small ones but I usually relaunch the app after a while just to prevent me from having a crash at a bad time if I encounter those situations).
I don’t really mean contiguous, just any 10ish hours of playtime even if it’s spread out in little chunks over a long period. I have this impression that the Mac client is just flat out unstable and there’s nothing that can really be done, so I’m asking to see whether anyone does happen to have a fairly stable setup.
I personally have crashes at least once every hour. I don’t know whether that’s due to the number of people on screen or something else.
one or more of the graphics settings, when set to high, cause crashing in zerg battle. not sure which, but setting your graphics to best performance should fix 99% of the crashing.

The ones I personally blame are antialiasing, shadows and shaders. I turn of aa and set the others to medium. Everything else is high (except for reflections is only terrain).
I hardly ever crash, if I do it is almost always caused by too many people being on screen and me moving the view too quickly (The game doesn’t seem to like trying to render them that quickly – obviously turning character models to low helps). I play on high settings (everything on max except for sampling which is native and shaders and shadows which I sometimes turn down in more intensive areas) on a late 2011 MBP 15" high res (not retina) screen, 2.2 Ghz i7, 4GB RAM, Radeon HD 6750M.
I play on an early 2011 15" MBP (2.2 GHz Core i7, 4 GB RAM, AMD Radeon HD 6750M ) with all my settings at the lowest possible. with the exception of the culling settings — “low” instead of “lowest”. I rarely ever get crashes — maybe once every few weeks.

Define too many people: would you say 30+ people on the screen all attacking is too much?
I have never crashed.

I tend to crash after playing about 1-2 hours. I also crash when there is a zerg. Yesterday, I was fighting a world boss (I think it was Lyssa) and I crashed close to 20 times during the fight. It was really annoying. I think I need to avoid those types of fights. It might be also because of the screen resolution I play on. I am not playing on the highest (highest is like 2500 × ...) resolution. I play at 1900×...

Very rarely crash. I run at 1440×900 with everything at max except AA off. Running on 2012 MBP Retina.
Ive never had a crash. I have issues with TP not loading and logout and login seems to fix that sometimes takes a few times but. Also I have issues where when in the TP and exiting that window my game brightness changes and I have to alt tab out but no actual game crashing.
