Guild Wars 2

Hey, Wretch here.
Having to Download the game again after a long time, on another computer.

The computer I’m on has better specs and is on the same network.

I have a feeling that this could be an external problem? (i.e. GW2 Servers)
I updated on the other computer yesterday, and have had no connectivity issues until today. Any solutions or ways to troubleshoot?

P.S. /// I have no .exe file? I cannot open file location on the desktop and when I open the .exe file location in My Docs it just loads the launcher, and if it is running, it does nothing? \\\ Additionally, I updated today on the original PC and was experiencing the same problems.

I too am downloading the game on to a new hard drive after not playing for a while. My download speed has been hovering around 100kb/sec for several hours now. This is the slowest download speed I have ever seen. I even disabled the firewall and anti-virus to see if that did anything. No change.

It must be intentional. I don’t think we can really alter this in any real way.

Just wanna add my voice here too. I’m looking at a download speed of 5Kb/sec right now, and will take literally hours for me to download the latest update. Sorry Anet but I guess I won’t be playing GW2 until this issue is resolved /sigh.
