Download failed! Please check...
I’ve tried everything I can think of and mine stops with 3 files to go also.Mine did this with the Halloween download too.I just kept trying until it finally finished loading.
I had the same issue with the Halloween patch and same as you I just kept downloading it until it finally finished, but this is different, I don’t remember this download error at all.
Come on Anet, the amount of times this type of crap has happened and the amount of people its happened to…
something about the patch broke for me now it keeps failing when it auto attempts to repair archive data.

This same thing is happening to me. I get to 55.45Mb of the 3rd last file then get the “Download failed! Please check your internet connection and try again. (2)” message.
Have tried 20 times wasting over 1 GB of my monthly download allowance on this one file.
^ Me too, 55Mb in and it fails. I’ve also spent alot of download trying different solutions but nothing has worked. The patch before did the same thing but putting it in compatibilty with Windows XP service pack 3 fixed it. But this time nothing works. This is seriously annoying, I just want to play.. I don’t want to have to go through this every with patch a comes out.

I’m getting the same problem. Initially the file is 55Mb but before it passes 0% in download it comes up with the “download failed” message.
i do not know what to do too.. i run it and it locked up my computer every time it downloads. I have disabled all my internet security, microsoft firewall.. all programs on boot, uninstalled.. reinstalled into a new folder outside of programs..and when installing get the problem…
I guess i can no longer play this game.. Is this what Arenanet wants? People to stop playing their game?
