Is E mail authentication removed?
I was just able to access the site and my account and log in from and unauthorized
IP without getting any confirmation E mail from Anet.

You can check your Account settings in ‘My Account’. If it is indeed removed, you can discuss the issue with the CS Team. Top of Page – Support – Submit a Request.

There is nothing related to E mail authentication on the security section of the account
page.There is a box for authorized networks,which is empty,and all other info is related to enabling the google mobile authenticator.
In the CS Email authorization related page there is a reference to a “send” button that you have to use to initiate the process of shielding your account via Email ,but there is no such button neither in the site account page nor in the client launcher.
I am 110% sure the Email authentication is enabled for my account.
I’ll open a ticket but the fact is that atm my account is vulnerable and I can’t at least resort to the mobile authenticator since that simply does not recognize any of the codes generated on my phone as valid.

Aenaos.8160: we’ll address your email authentication problems in your ticket, but I wanted to ask if you’ve looked at the info here on how to set up the mobile auth, specifically this part:

“If you get an error message after step 4, please check to make sure the time and date on your computer and mobile device are accurate, and try again. If you have any other problems setting up the mobile authenticator, please file a ticket and our Support team will get back to you as soon as possible to help.”

If your time and date are correct and match, and the site will still not accept your mobile auth code, please mention it in your ticket so we can figure out what the problem is. Thanks!

Email authentication is back on and I managed to set the authenticator this time.
It was the time and date.You need to put that info in the set up page.
