i am having the same problemas above
Same problem here, only happened after update, i can pve fine but when i try to pvp i get this error!
Same error when solo queueing. Comcast in chicago. Server TC. I was in a group earlier and someone else queued up and that seemed to work.
Come on guys, I’ve been getting this error for hours, can we get a response at least?

Having this same issue. Only happens for ranked and unranked it lets me join hotjoin.

anyone here tried clearing their dns cache open command prompt and type ipconfig /flushdns and hit enter works for those having issues with downloading the patch they posted today also disabling the windows firewall and then re-enabling it after you get the updates

i havent done the flushdns and i dont use windows firewall, or any firewall for that matter.

also if you used that reddit fix i suggest removing that from that host file

honestly i shouldnt have to do kitten for a game i purchased to work properly.
I also keep getting this same message when trying to do the Play Unranked Arena but Practice Custom Arena works. My wife can Play Unranked Arena just fine though. This is an issue and it’s not on my end, Please fix this ANet…I also can’t partake in the new pvp structure or get my pvp dailies. Not Cool.

Same for me, only training arenas work.
here we are a day later…still getting the same error when i try to que ranked and unranked pvp matches. this is not a problem on my end u guys need to fix this . i only pvp and have been looking forward to the new system but i rather be able to play with a brokeass mmr system than not at all
Hi, I’m getting this issue on only one of my accounts. I can queue on both my NA and EU alt accounts. No clue what is causing this.

still the same kittening issue, why the kitten am i locked out of the only part of the game i enjoy. And why has that part of the game been turned into a casual kittenfest that is going to lead to most of the pvp community quitting.
Yeah I only PvP, nothing else in this game interests me, and now I can’t even do that.
Did the flushdns, and re-installed the client overnight, still nada.

No problems queuing on EU account, which is Piken Square server.

Quick questions to the Anet folks, WHY after EVERY patch you guys BREAK stuff that was working fine before.
PLEASE answer that question, been playing since beta and its 100% money back guarantee that you WILL break something after a patch. WHY? cant be bothered testing it on test server?

Same problem, 30 – 60 secs after clicking the queue button a pop up saying error 42 appears.
Hotjoins works, but not the other modes.
Everything else works fine within the game.
