Guild Wars 2

G’day, Since installing GW2 last night I have been unable to log in. My account is activated, I have changed the password 3 times already and just recently sent in a support ticket about this issue. Hopefully posting here, will help resolve the issue a little faster. I have no access to the support ticket number as I am unable to log into that section with my account info.

Clearly I can access my account to the forums, but being unable to login to the game itself or to the support account with the same information is a little weird to me. Especially since all i’ve done is download and install the game.

i have the same problem as you i have sen a support ticket too

I also just purchased the game and during my first character creation I was disconnected I now receive this error code when I attempt to log in. I have submitted a ticket but have yet to hear back. This does not seem to bode well for new players who were taking advantage of the black Friday deal.

its doing the same for me also, ive changed password and also my email seeing if that fixes it but it hasnt

I am having the same issue, what happens next and what is being done about it.

I’m getting the same error (Error Code: 11:0:2:1297) – filed a ticket over a day ago and still no response. Not the best first impression having just bought the game…

Most frustrating part is that the “Recover Account” option assumes that you have a character already.

That just most likely means the thief had (or has, go change your passwords) access to your email as well.

Found out in my case, I was trying to log in with my Display Name, but when I logged in with my e-mail address it worked.
