Did you buy the game from the official site? If so, you’re now in the same boat as a good number of us who have been suspended in the past few days. Be sure to submit a ticket to support like they suggest. It will likely be escalated to the Payment Review Team. Hopefully they will sort all this out soon. One of the more recent news items is an article on Billing Maintenance on November 2nd, so maybe something went wrong with that.

I got banned/suspended for this too today I didn’t do anything wrong either so it really puzzles me as to why I was banned.
ANET stop banning people for nothing! I’m really angry, beacuse i’m waiting for a reply from ANET 10 days! And still nothing! I do not even know why my account is blocked. Anet, do something, please…

Same thing happened to me a few hours ago. This really stressed me out.. Are we going to stay suspended for weeks? or even for months??
I hope not but if it will be so im seriously thinking to play something else.
This is the second time in the last 2 months when I have problems with arena without any explanation…
Same here, tonight I wanted to play a little and BAM, account suspended. I don’t know what have I done, I bought the game two days ago, too noob to do anything bad! :P

I can tell you what happens now, I had the same error, your accont gonna be banned and you will have to buy new serial code and you will probably have to start with new account, nice ehh?
I was farming on Cursed Shore? – Shelther’s and I was telling people to come on farm with me on the event that take place there. And i just said in the chat the you can make from 1-3 gold per hours and 3 mins later I got terminated. Why i only played this game for 3 weeks, I never bought any gold or sell any gold. And why will I be farming if i bought gold or farming for that amount of gold to sell? And why will I tell people to come in chat? I place a ticket and i never had a respond back. Can some1 help me plz. I pay 65$ for this game and i just got terminated for no reason or proof the i was selling gold or buying ; ;. why they just my account history? Terminating me from the game for no reason.

That’s totally crazy i didn’t even start to play this game! I was banned before my first character in this game, what is this? How long we have to wait for any respond. Guys, please tell me what kind of answer did you get after unblock your accound, if they did it.
Oh and The Lost Shores passed without even minute of play

What is happening in some of these cases — not all, but some — is that the account is purchased and then fails the “fraud rules” and is refunded and closed. This is frustrating, I know, but it’s a part of doing business the stops fraudulent purchases.
There are a lot of interesting “fraud rules” that I didn’t know about until rather recently. And while it may be perfectly legitimate that a person in Canada is using a credit card issued in Guatemala, or that a person with a credit card had a billing address on a different continent, those often point to fraud.
I’m not looking at the individual issues here, I just want to make you aware that if you buy from us and your account is closed because there is some question about it, you’re welcome to contact Support but do be aware that in most if not all cases, we are refunding the purchase price, and it may behoove you to see if that was processed by your credit card company so you have the full picture in front of you.
