Guild Wars 2

So I just installed the Beta version, the process went really fast. It then launched a screen that looked like a launcher and had a fancy GW2 background…. only it was completely blank. At the bottom was a floating unlabeled checkbox and a progress bar with the text “100%” over it that flickered on and off. After the progress bar blinked a bit I got this error :

s_initialized
A serious error has occurred that prevented the application from continuing. A report has been sent to ArenaNet to help determine the cause.

Subsequent relaunches have returned the same result.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:

Just noticed that the install can’t have gone properly since it did not take up the 18 gigs on my hard drive it said it needed. Have reinstalled, did not work.

Have been following tech support instructions and still doesn’t work, got this game almost a month ago and still can’t play it am rather disappointed.
