Error code 42:0:9001:4439
Try this:
1. Navigate to your Guild Wars 2 installation folder.
2. Right-click on “GW2.exe” and select “Create Shortcut.”
3. Rename this shortcut to “Guild Wars 2 Port Test.”
4. Right-click on this shortcut and select “Properties.”
5. Edit the “Target” line to include /clientport 80 at the end.
Note: Please make sure /clientport 80 is outside of the quotes
Correctly Formatted Example: “C:\Games\Guild Wars 2\GW2.exe” /clientport 80
Incorrectly Formatted Example: “C:\Games\Guild Wars 2\GW2.exe /clientport 80”
6. Once completed, click “Ok” to save your changes.
7. Double click “Guild Wars 2 Port Test” and try connecting again.
If this doesn’t help, try changing /clientport 80 to /clientport 443
If that still doesn’t help, you might want to contact support. They’ll be able to help you better.

Are you East Coast? It seems level 3 in Dallas is having issues at the moment I am able to connect but theres some really bad packet loss there.
i also have the same problem, tried repairing client twice, was able to login for a few minutes before it crashed again, and the problem repeats. any solution to this?
I can’t log in and I get a different error code I get 58:11:5:535
I can logon and I can even play for a bit but then I might get a code=42:0:9001:4439:101
or code=7:11:3:191:101 crash. Im using 64-bit client with system managed virtual memory, graphics card exemptions for the client and game graphics on ‘best performance’. Tried the /clientport 80 trick and got a 7:11 crash…
Makes me wanna throw the game in the bin lol
