Hi Khanatos – What troubleshooting steps have you tried in regards to this issue? Do you get this error every time you try to log in?

This is what i did :
- Guild Wars 2 Diagnostic
- Guild Wars 2 Port Test
- Open TCP ports 80, 443, 6112 and port 6600 on my router
- Disabled all my windows and software firewall
- Unninstalled my firewall and tried to connect = nothing
- Tried to configure manually my network settings
Nothing of this worked. The funny part is that i was able to connect yesterday late at night and it seems that i’m able to connect at only late hours (midnight and later).
But as i said, it all started when the last patch came.
I am also getting this error.
EDIT: Seems to have fixed it self.

Ok, I’m still not able to play the game.
I was perfectly able to play it before the patch so i’m still waiting for your support.
Is there any way to fix it??

Ok, it seems that, as i said before, sometimes i’m able to connect but it doesn’t ask me to authentificate with my email (which i didn’t turn off). This seems to be very dangerous for my account as someone can breach this system…
This error seems to be there 90% of the time but when i can pass the error it just let me connect without the email authentification system
Please help!
I’ve got the same issue. Can’t log in 90% of the time with 7:1000:7006:836 error. When I do log in I’ll get booted after 5-15 minutes with a similar error.
Hello. I’d like to help you 2 weeks ago, but my account was bugged and i can’t log in on my GW2 acc on forum… So…
When i reinstalled my system to Win7(64bit) and when I’ve istalled GW2 i had the same problem. So i reinstalled, and it worked 1 time. After reboot of PC i still had same error. So I decided to turn off all of my PC’s programs and just check, what is interupting my GW2.exe. I found bug, with the uTorrent program (I didn’t said anything :p). Anyways, when I want to play GW2 now, I just need to turn off this program. It might be other programs for you, like Steam, Skype or Xfire. Who knows ? Anyways, try to do same things like me, and just good luck ! Call the results and if it won’t be gr8 I will try to help you ! : ). GL & HF
