Guild Wars 2

As most people I leave exit the game with Alt+F4 when I’m finished, but why do have to do this 6 or more times in a row. I am either no where near an enemy or I am in one of the major cities. The game preventing termination is malware like.

I don’t think most people exit the game using Alt+F4. But the way to do it is Esc and then leave to desktop option. The windows Alt+F4 option works great for a program as notepad or paint. but more advanced programs and specially high level video games use resources from all over windows. Alt+F4 is a windows function and the window function doesn’t work well with many games. Maybe you should complain at Microsoft before calling this game malware.

Hitting escape and then clicking “exit to dekstop” is how I exit the game. I only use alt+f4 when a program freezes (stops responding). I don’t think I’ve ever had to alt+f4 Guild Wars 2.

I use F12 then either log out or go to another character

I use Alt + F4 all the time, works no problem. I am surprised you’re having difficulties.
