Guild Wars 2

This is getting tiring. And by “this”, I mean the intense, and ever-present lag. Normally, I don’t experience much lag, but every once in awhile, I’ll get a massive lag spike that kills me while I’m fighting because none of my skills are working while there’s lag. I never experienced even a slight bit of lag in any other game besides Guild Wars 2, which leads me to believe that it’s not an issue with my connection, but an issue with your servers. I literally cannot afford to die anymore, but the lag continues. This lag happens at least once every 15 minutes, and I’m not the only one experiencing the lag. I have asked multiple people in my guild and they all said that they get the same lag. Unfortunately, I go back to WoW every time I lag and die because I can’t take it anymore, and WoW doesn’t lag me into oblivion every time I try to fight. Please fix this soon.

I had a quick look but couldn’t find it – there was a skill lag thread that Anet were looking into.

Same here. In the last days so many heavy lags. Mainly in sPvP what makes it even worse.
Got disconnected two times during tournaments. And yes, my connection outside of GW2 is stable.

I am also experiencing massive lag! I’m running a powerful computer that never ever ever lags! 2 HD graphics cards, 32 gigs of DDR3 and haven’t had anything lower than 45 fps and for the last few days I’ve been getting 11 fps when leveling and 2-5 fps when doing world events! I don’t know what’s going on! I checked my internet and it’s working perfectly! Anet please help! It’s getting ridiculous! I die when I shouldn’t because my skills are being cast 2-5 seconds after I press them!

This is getting horrible I m probably going to get kicked from my gild and I haven’t been able to do anything on guild wars 2

I agree. My laptop isn’t perfect, but I have an i7 @ 2.4GHz and an nvidia geforce 520M 1GB graphics card and according to the specs I should be able to run way better than I am. I have all settings on the lowest and some are even on none, and I’m getting at most, 25 fps. I really hope it’s just the patch since I just started playing 2 days ago.

I am with the rest of these guys crippling lag last couple days… on the plus side it made me want to play some single player age of empires lmao

Ya i’ve been getting some serious lag in the last couple days as well. I’m not even in crowded areas. My skills would take up to 2 minutes to work. Going on the gw2 forums also takes more time than usual. I’m able to go on other websites with no problem. I currently can’t even log in
