Guild Wars 2

I logged on my client tonight at 11 PM CST and watched my update bar patching at a rate of between 0 and 22 KB/sec. This is not normal for me. Nothing else on the net is slowed down for me, email and such is downloading normally, pages are loading normally, there are no other programs open on my machine and I have my firewall and virus scanner suspended to make sure they don’t interfere. At one point I closed down the client and restarted it and it’s still just as slow. It’s now 45+ minutes later and it’s still downloading the patch.

Me too. I have 8 files left. FOREVER.

I’ve been stuck on 1% for the longest time now… I thought it was just me… _

At 75% after an hour.

Yeah, 8 hours for a patch is really laughable. My pipe is fast enough to download the whole game in the meantime, but I’m always stuck at 0.00 KB/sec. If someone can tell me how to change this, I would appreciate it a lot.

Having same issues, tried rebooting modem and computer a few times. However still stuck between 0 fps and 40

Once again still having extremely slow download on today’s patch. I have disabled security and I am running on Fiber internet…any clues?

Really over one hour to get 2 of 8 files today….. this will be a long evening

same, jumps from 20 to 0.02 kb/s – and I download stuff at 1-2 mbs. so there is no way its my connection. It has to be the servers, everything firewall is OFF, priority raised, etc. Nothing…

I just encountered the exact same problem. Turned off my firewall, made sure my net was running fine, everything. Seems like I’m stuck between 0 to 30 kb/sec, when usually I get 400kb/sec – 1.2 MB/sec or so for GW2. What gives?

45 minutes later and still have 4 files remaining

same problem here. 1 file left stuck on 95%. Started patching when I was booted from the game for the new build about 2.5hrs ago.
