Hi! My brother and I are coming back after almost 2 years of hiatus. I am writing this in behalf of his account. The thing is, he forgot his e-mail address password and we’ve been trying so hard to remember it but we’re giving up after 2 days. So he can’t authenticate in the game, the GW2 account itself is fine, only the e-mail address password. I submitted a request its #2317572. I’m posting this cause I have no idea how to monitor the request I made. We were hoping if it was possible to change his e-mail address to the one he currently uses. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

Your brother needs to submit a request for assistance, as the CS Team will only assist the account owner.

Make sure to use a different email address for correspondence so the Team can contact your brother.

We’ve tried, but in order to log on the site, we also need the authentication code from the e-mail. Is there a way to contact the CS team without logging in the site?

We did that twice but Idk how to check up on the requests we sent. We sent 2 requests using that.

Sending duplicate tickets will often slow response time. When a ticket is submitted the person submitting it should receive an auto response email very soon after submitting the ticket. The auto response email includes the ticket number and a copy of the message sent buy the person submitting the ticket. If the person submitting the ticket didn’t receive the auto response email they may have used the wrong/or inactive email address or they may have a problem with emails from Anet getting filtered by their email provider. If the auto response has been received then once Anet has a GM reply to the ticket it will also be sent to the email address of the person sending the ticket with instructions on how to proceed.

If the person received the auto response email but no answer from a GM after 3 days they can post their ticket number in the sticky thread at the top of this forum for review.

Im curious about this auto response email. What email do I open to see the auto response? since I submitted the tickets almost 12 hours apart. I havent received anything

The auto response email goes to the same email address you used to submit your ticket in the “Your email address,” field of the form.

Ohhh that’s why. I was putting the forgotten email address on the “Your email address” field. Thank you! I will submit a new one with another email
