Specs:
MOBO: Asus Z97-a
CPU: G3258 (overclocked to 4.3)
COOLER: H60 Closed Loop Cooler
GPU: GTX 760
MEM: 2x Corsair Vengeance 8g 1866

Ok so here is my issue,

In all the graphical tests I have done, I can preform at higher then 100 fps. (using Passmark) My overclock is currently stable and I have overclocked the GPU as well according to guide found online and am using MSI Afterburner to do so. (Power Limit 110%, Core Clock +170, Mem Clock +436)

Currently idle in GW2 I am running at 37-41 fps with all settings on HIGH. I have the GPU in the right slot (closest to the CPU). All my drivers are up to date. I have read through the forums and have found little to help with my situation.

I have friend online using laptops who easily achieve 90+ fps. I know this rig can push them out so where are they going? I have read a couple things about re-installing GW2 but how effective can that be?

I am open to any help and am willing to use remote desktop software if you request it. I have TeamViewer installed.

Please help me fix this problem! I just bought this computer this Christmas and I want to get what I paid out of it. (roughly $1400)

Unforotunily the problem lies with your precesser, this CPU was released for lower end systems and it is only a duel core, so you might what to look into replacing it with an i5 or better. Since most of the game is rendered in the CPU then this is most likely your problem

Thats the main issue. The G3258 (While Awesome IMHO) Cannot handle this game with all settings on High. You will need to adjust your settings to get better performance.

Wow you payed $1400 for that system you were ripped off

Intel Pentium Processor G3258 4 BX80646G3258 average price $70

Asus Z97-a motherboard average price $140

GTX 760 average price $200

2x Corsair Vengeance 8g 1866 average price $100

COOLER: H60 Closed Loop Cooler average price $70

Some of these price I gave are on the high end if you shopped around most likely you could get them cheaper.
You didn’t list your power supply hard drive or case so not sure what you have there but I’m thinking $100 if you went for a solid state or fast access standard hard drive. For a decent PSU maybe $80 and case not sure how much you spent on that but you can get a case for $30 all the way up to $1000 the point is I built my i5 system for under $800 2 years ago so $1400 wow you could have gotten a i7 processor and come out ahead.
