I am running a Intel i7 3630QM 2.40GHz, And a Nvidya Geforce GTX 675MX

I used to get 30+ FPS on high settings in lions arch but after I updated my drivers I can’t even break 9+ FPS in lions unless I throw everything on the lowest setting.

I don’t understand why after installing a update to my drivers that I can’t play my game on the settings I had before the update.

I would’\ just download the old drivers again but I don’t remember what they were because they were pretty old and I needed to update them for my other games.

Anyone else having these problems?

What driver are you using?

Maybe you downloaded the wrong one (i.e. for wrong operating system)? The GeForce forums have people complaining about FPS issues so you’re not alone.

You can also downgrade your driver if need be.

I’m not sure if I’m having the same issue. What I see is that it seems like the client completely freezes for a quick half second or two. I’m also running Nvidia and upgraded to the latest driver… which was probably a dumb thing to do since it was just released like right before the GW2 patch. Anyway, I have followed some Nvidia setting instructions from https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/tech/FPS-and-Performance-based-issues-1/first#post338300 and am going to see how it goes tonight before going back to an older version.

Interesting I am using the exact same card.

I just updated mine today, and after this recent patch it seems I have gotten some FPS drop.

I get like 40 FPS in the biggest W3 zergs, but after this patch and update I can dip to 28. I don’t know if this is from the massive influx of people playing WvW right now, but I get like 68-90 FPS in LA still.

When you installed did you hit quick install so you couldn’t mess anything up.
Should be noted that on max settings I will get like 40 FPS maximum, but well that’s max settings I doubt people really get much higher especially in W3.

I usually run on low settings anyways, because performance and play over pretty shiny things.

P.S., My card is Geforce GTX 675M.

My framerates are about the same as yours, but I get these little freeze hiccups which are more noticeable in WvW, but also happen in PvE. Was happening while I was running around in Wayfarer Hills last night. I tried rolling back driver to the one from January. Still saw the hiccups so I’m guessing it has something to do with either the recent game update or a Windows update.
