FPS drop on temple still not fixed
what processor are you using?
guild wars 2 is very cpu dependent.
the ancient game engine greatly favors strong powerful intel processors.
Try turning off Post Processing!

intel core 3 i think im not sure my PC is pretty old. And I know it relies on CPU but still ,after buying a new GPU it shouldnt lagg that much.
ah i see, perhaps the i3 is not powerful enough?
i think you will see big difference with i5 and i7
what new gpu are you using now by the way?
what graphic settings?
for myself, i am currently using a 4 year old main board and amd processor
amd phenom ii x4 955 3.20ghz (4 years old)
msi main board MSI MS-7599 (4 years old)
8gb ram 1333mhz
graphic card is new though
sapphire r9 270 2gb gddr5
- gpu clock 945mhz
- memory 1400mhz
- shaders 1280 unified
my gw2 settings: best performance (all lowest settings)
wvw models limit: lowest
wvw models quality: low
rendering: native (i did not put sub sample, because it would look very pixelated)
i can get 60 fps in all sPvP maps, and most open world PvE areas.

^ well, a t s e,
i’m not very rich myself, hence i’m still using a 4 years old main board & processor for gaming, but yeah, guild wars 2 is not very well optimized, especially for amd processors.
but i’m happy that i am able to get 60 fps for sPvP though, even on lowest setting, gw2 still looks beautiful to me.
i think the more expensive intel processors such as i5 i7 series may have better results.
Well, I get graphic bugs (all green/blueish) every time I play Spirit Watch with Shaders on High. The game will just freeze for 2s and then I lose 50% of my fps. Its annoying as hell and only happens on Spirit Watch. Works with shaders on low/middle though. GW2 is just weird at times.
Edit: It definitely has to be your GPU/Drivers. I’m rockin a 5y old 260GTX and can easily play on High Details/Shaders. CPU is much more important in GW2.
i3 isn’t bad 4 GW2 at all, it’s an overclocking monster.
